Intermediate Analyst - Real Estate Sector

Your role, in brief:

As an Intermediate Analyst, your main focus will be on the work surrounding the modernization of our Hopem Immobilier property management software to a new technological platform.

The candidate must demonstrate above-average skills in analysis and documentation by constantly improving the entire development process in an agile environment. With a proven level of engagement demonstrated by action, the candidate must also have a highly developed level of autonomy.

You will be part of a strong, evolving development team and will be accompanied by other experienced analysts.

The work is mainly done remotely, but occasional meetings at our offices are possible.

Your responsibilities, in more detail

• Produce detailed, clear, and structured functional analysis documents serving as a basis for development teams (products, software, or projects)
• Collaborate closely with developers, solution architects, and stakeholders to ensure consistency between business needs and technical deliverables
• Participate in the definition of requirements, use cases, and functional scenarios
• Validate and document the changes required by our clients
• Actively collaborate in the evolution and maintenance of the platform
• Participate in feasibility analyses and the writing of necessary specifications
• Collaborate with the quality control team and contribute to functional and integrated testing

Your expertise and skills

• College or university degree in computer science
• 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in the sector
• Strong analytical thinking
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Assets

• Experience in the real estate domain
• Knowledge of accounting or management
• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of Agile methodology
• Ability to read existing code (Delphi, C#)
• Good command of both French and English is required as the job holder will frequently communicate in both languages, both orally and in writing. We have colleagues, clients, and partners in Quebec, as well as the rest of Canada and the United States.
