Summary
Reporting to the Deputy Director – Hosting, the TI Platform Engineering Analyst – Linux Environment contributes to the setup and evolution of our technological platforms. Specifically, they collaborate on various IT projects and ensure the evolution of our self-service infrastructure offering, within an "as code" environment. As a member of a product team, they perform the necessary operational tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the product, thereby supporting our business activities.
You will achieve the following functions
- Participate in the support activities of environments and solutions under the responsibility of the self-service infrastructure team for the Linux server component (incident handling, service requests, production deployment).
- Contribute to the realization of projects involving an infrastructure platform engineering analyst for the Linux server component.
- Automate the delivery of IT services.
- Ensure the high availability of Linux services/servers.
- Ensure the updating of environments (on-site and cloud).
- Collaborate with teams to ensure the integration of Linux solutions into IT environments, in compliance with security and performance standards.
- Conduct technological monitoring on Linux solutions and IT infrastructure trends to propose continuous improvements and relevant innovations.
- Contribute to risk analysis and the implementation of security measures for Linux environments, in collaboration with cybersecurity teams.
- Act as a technical resource for other team members or internal partners for the Linux server component.
Talents and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
- Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in analysis, administration, and evolution of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) server environments.
- Mastery of Linux Server environments.
- Solid experience in automation with technologies such as Ansible and Terraform, and the ability to develop code facilitating automation and the deployment of technological services.
- Knowledge of VMWare, storage, backup, and other infrastructure components.
- Agile knowledge at scale.
- Cloud knowledge AWS and Solaris.
- Advanced French language proficiency and functional English proficiency due to the nature of tasks, work tools, or interactions with anglophone colleagues, partners, clients, or suppliers, or to meet the company's growth objectives.
