Technician / Mechanic

H Grégoire Nissan St-Eustache is looking for a technician / mechanic for a full-time permanent position.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform repairs indicated on work orders with precision, efficiency, and according to manufacturer and dealership standards
• Diagnose malfunctions based on customer complaints and your own inspections
• Perform necessary repairs and communicate with the parts department to obtain required parts
• Inspect vehicles to detect any additional maintenance or safety needs
• Quickly advise the technical advisor or foreman if additional work is required or if certain repairs cannot be performed
• Install optional equipment requested by the customer or dealership
• Conduct road tests, if necessary, to validate the quality of repairs
• Document the work performed and recommendations on repair orders with precision
• Report any equipment defects or problems to your immediate supervisor
• Participate in continuous training and stay informed of manufacturer technical bulletins
• Perform other related tasks as needed by the department

Desired Profile

• Automotive mechanics training (required)
• Valid CPA card (required)
• Automotive mechanics experience (minimum 1 year required)
• Speed of execution and concern for quality work
• Good observation skills and attention to detail
• Good physical condition
