Project Manager
Construction & engineeringDescription
Our client
Our client is a group of companies specializing in electrical, building mechanical, and industrial projects, operating across Quebec. The team manages complex mandates for major clients in the public, private, commercial, and industrial sectors.
The organization is experiencing sustained growth and is consolidating its leadership structure with key roles.
Your new position
You will join a project management team to lead significant electrical mandates (from $25,000 to $80 million+). You will be the central point of the project: coordinating teams, adhering to schedules and budgets, client communication, on-site supervision, and problem resolution.
Your responsibilities
- You will manage complex projects from start to finish (estimation, scheduling, procurement, execution), lead and coordinate on-site teams and subcontractors.
- You will ensure compliance (SST, quality, deadlines) and maintain a quality relationship with major clients. You will participate in the continuous improvement of project management processes and be present on the job sites, because project management is about the ground.
- Depending on your profile and progress, opportunities for advancement to supervisory or management roles.
- Desired profile
You should have a degree in electrical engineering or confirmed experience in project management. Intermediate experience in electrical project management (industrial building) is essential. On-site presence is crucial; you are not an office manager. You build your relationships on honesty and integrity, based on transparency and trust. You are capable of listening and learning, open to feedback and continuous improvement. You have humility and know that you have much to learn. Finally, you are looking for a stable and growing career, not a temporary position.
Why join this organization?
The organization is looking for a builder, not a rushed manager. A person who knows how to listen before acting, who learns from their mistakes, and who puts the human element at the heart of their leadership.
What you will find with this employer: real stability and loyalty, an organization that invests in its people and does not replace them. The culture is horizontal, no silos, no micromanagement, your voice counts. You will work on significant and complex mandates that are recognized. Internal training is a commitment: mentoring and continuous support, they train rather than replace. Your progression is natural according to your performance and commitment, with opportunities for advancement to supervisory or management roles.
