ETL Specialist Analyst

Roles and Responsibilities CGI is looking for an ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) analyst to join one of our project teams leveraging several modern technologies including Microsoft Azure, Power Platform, Power BI, and Microsoft .NET. In this role, the candidate will be called upon to collaborate with technical teams and client solutions to prioritize project work and evolutions, document decision-making information specifications, and support various testing phases. From business requirements and processes, the candidate must also ensure alignment with the organization's existing architecture.

Qualities Required for Success in this Role

Requirements

1) Hold a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or software development, or equivalent.

2) Possess at least eight (8) years of experience as an ETL specialist analyst (SSIS), including at least: Three (3) years in JavaScript and SQL programming

One year of experience with transactional systems

One year of experience with ETL solutions (Azure Data Factory & Azure Synapse Pipelines, SQL dedicated pools on Azure Synapse Analytics, SQL Serverless pools on Azure Synapse Analytics) 3) Three (3) years in JavaScript and SQL programming 4) One year of experience with transactional systems 5) One year of experience with ETL solutions (Azure Data Factory & Azure Synapse Pipelines, SQL dedicated pools on Azure Synapse Analytics, SQL Serverless pools on Azure Synapse Analytics) 6) Possess one year of experience in BI solutions (tableau, Looker, OLAP, etc.) 7) Possess three years of practical experience in VB.Net / C#.Net, WCF, REST API / ASP.Net Web API 2, HTML, Javascript, MVC 5, TDD, .NET Core, Microservices, Nuget, SQL Server, IIS, Liferay, Angular, GIT, JWT, Container Docker, SonarQube, Agility, Continuous Integration, DevOps 8) Demonstrate that the proposed resource has participated as a specialized IT (or data) analyst in ETL in two (2) mandates of a minimum of 1000 person-days each, and in which their contribution represents at least 220 person-days per mandate, over the five (5) years preceding the submission deadline of this job posting.

9) Demonstrate, through one or more mandates, knowledge and experience with SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, SQL, and Oracle 10 or 11g tools.

Bonus: 1) At least two years of experience with SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS tools (SQL Server 2008R) 2) Good knowledge of Rest APIs, AWS, and cloud platforms 3) Experience with data quality and profiling concepts and tools 4) Experience in database modeling.
