Being an intern or student at Cascades is the unique opportunity to define your interests and discover your passion through an Internship in Continuous Improvement - Winter 2027.

You will have the following main responsibilities:

• Apply continuous improvement principles and tools (Lean Six Sigma) in projects related to maintenance work planning and scheduling, production equipment reliability at Kingsey Falls plants, and inventory management
• Lead certain projects, whether new or ongoing, and actively contribute to their progress
• Facilitate problem-solving workshops with multidisciplinary teams, in a collaborative and results-oriented approach
• Participate in loss reduction and process optimization initiatives, bringing your analytical and creative perspective
• Develop effective management tools and strategic initiatives tailored to different levels of the organization
• Audit and guide teams in process improvement, providing constructive feedback and assessing their operational maturity level
• Perform certain maintenance engineering tasks related to parts or equipment changes, including BOM integration, operational procedure updates, and inventory addition in the SAP GMAO system

• You are available from January 11 to April 23, 2027 for a full-time internship (40 hours/week), as part of your university studies in Mechanical Engineering or Biotechnology Engineering
• You demonstrate rigor and excellent organizational skills, allowing you to carry out process analyses and follow-ups
• You are persuasive, a good communicator, and know how to mobilize people around improvement initiatives
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
