Club Soccer LaSalle is seeking a Pre-Academy U7-U8 Coordinator to ensure the technical and operational coordination of the program.

Under the supervision of the technical director, the selected individual will be responsible for program planning, on-field coaching quality, player tracking, educator support, and overall activity organization.

This position is ideal for a structured, autonomous, and committed individual capable of balancing on-field expertise, pedagogical insight, leadership, and organizational rigor.

Working Conditions

  • Key Responsibilities

Technical Planning and Coaching

  • Develop and implement the program plan in line with the Club's technical guidelines and methodology.
  • Prepare training content and necessary pedagogical tools.
  • Lead some sessions and oversee the quality of educators' interventions.
  • Ensure the smooth running of sessions, drills, and activities.
  • Maintain the Club's technical, pedagogical, and behavioral standards.

Player Development and Tracking

  • Regularly monitor players' progress.
  • Identify individual needs and progression or advancement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the technical director on player evaluations.
  • Formulate recommendations for players' evolution within the Club's sports path.

Educator Coaching

  • Participate in educator and assistant recruitment and assignment.
  • Supervise, support, and guide the assigned team.
  • Promote consistent application of the Club's methodology.
  • Organize coordination meetings as needed.
  • Compile, verify, and validate worked hours.

Administrative Organization and Management

  • Manage and update the program in XPS.
  • Plan teams, schedules, and activity logistics.
  • Organize the internal league and 5v5 matches.
  • Track program-related materials.
  • Maintain up-to-date tracking documents and adhere to established deadlines.
  • Produce the required reports for the technical director.

Family Communication

  • Transmit important program-related information.
  • Answer parents' questions clearly and professionally.
  • Maintain consistent communication with the Club's guidelines.
  • Keep an appropriate follow-up on the program's functioning and players' progress.
  • Evaluation and Continuous Improvement

At the end of each cycle or season, the responsible person will contribute to the program's evaluation to identify:

  • Players' progress and recommendations for them;
  • The program's strengths;
  • Elements to improve;
  • Adjustments for the next season.

Desired Profile

  • Relevant experience in coaching young players, ideally U7 to U9.
  • Good understanding of child development and principles of learning adapted to young players.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team of educators.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Autonomy, rigor, reliability, and sense of responsibility.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and ensure effective follow-ups.
  • Excellent communication skills with players, families, and staff.
  • Proficiency in common computer tools.
  • Knowledge of XPS, an asset.
  • Recognized coach training by Soccer Quebec or Canada Soccer, an asset.
