The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Position summary

  • Department / Research Program: Women’s Health Research Unit

Under the supervision of Dr. Lucy Gilbert, the clinical research coordinator is responsible to conduct clinic interventions following protocols, procedures and internal SOPs.

The incumbent is also responsible for coordinating the integration of the clinical data obtained into different database platforms.

General Duties

  • Provides coordination of all aspects of data collection and source documentation,
  • With the research nurses, coordinates protocol related tests for participants,
  • Create study specific source documentation,
  • Processes and shipments of samples according to clinical protocol and manuals,
  • Maintains and updates regularly the study lab kit inventory logs, destroys expired kits and requests study kits as needed,
  • Acts as a liaison with the sponsors’ representatives,
  • Conduct other related tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Education: Bachelor's Degree

  • Field of Study: Sciences
  • Work Experience: 2 years

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of French is required.
  • An intermediate knowledge of oral and written English is required, as the position requires regular and complex contact with patients, researchers or international students who are exclusively proficient in English.
  • Demonstrates adaptability skills
  • Capacity to work autonomously or with teams with minimum supervision
  • Prior experience in data entry is an asset
  • Additional information
  • Status: Temporary, full time (35-hour workweek)
  • Pay Scale: Commensurate with education and experience
  • Work Shift: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm

Work Site: Glen Site, 1001 Decarie Blvd.
