Being an intern or student at Cascades is the unique opportunity to define your interests and discover your passion through a Quality Department Internship - Winter 2027.

You will have the following main responsibilities:

• Use defect detection software and analyze results to support quality assurance activities
• Contribute to the standardization of test methods and the harmonization of quality data across the group's different plants
• Update and maintain the required documentation to ensure compliance with SQF certification requirements
• Collaborate on research and development projects as well as continuous improvement initiatives for extrusion processes and products
• Participate in the development and optimization of automated defect detection solutions to improve the quality control of extruded products

There's No One Like You!

• You are available from January 11 to April 23, 2027 for a full-time internship (40 hours/week), as part of your university studies in chemical engineering, biotechnological engineering, or any related field
• You demonstrate autonomy, initiative, and a good sense of organization in carrying out your assignments
• You have strong leadership and appreciate teamwork in a collaborative environment
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfortable with computer tools
• You have knowledge of an ERP system, such as SAP, or demonstrate the ability to quickly learn new software
• You are fluent in French and able to use English as needed to communicate with some partners and colleagues in the company
