Being an intern or student at Cascades is the unique opportunity to define your interests and discover your passion within the framework of a Laboratory Internship - Tissue Research and Development - Winter 2027: You will have the following main responsibilities:
- Actively contribute to the team's Tissue projects, particularly in innovation, operational support, continuous improvement, and quality control
- Perform physical and chemical analyses according to TAPPI and other applicable standards
- Analyze the correlation between paper machine parameters and the physical properties of the products
- Conduct investigations into finished product issues, identify possible causes, and write clear and structured analysis reports

- You are available from January 11 to April 23, 2027 for a full-time internship (40h/week), as part of your university or college training in biotechnological engineering, industrial engineering, chemical engineering, industrial process technology, pulp and paper, or a related field
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- You demonstrate rigor, curiosity, and a critical thinking mindset
- You have good communication skills and the ability to simplify information
- You are fluent in French and have good English proficiency, which is an asset for interacting with our teams and partners outside Quebec
