In collaboration with the Structure team at
Pluritec , we are looking for a structural building engineer for our Quebec office.
Your main responsibilities
- Carry out the design of building structure projects (concrete, steel, wood, and various structures);
- Ensure optimal project management under your supervision (profitability, budget, needs, deadlines, client relations, etc.);
- Write and prepare reports, technical estimates, and construction cost estimates;
- Ensure compliance with building code guidelines and requirements;
- Work in constant collaboration with technicians and multidisciplinary teams;
- Conduct site surveys and construction follow-ups;
- Ensure that engineering work is produced according to quality standards and applicable norms.
What makes you unique
- Specialization in building structure;
- Good knowledge of applicable codes and norms;
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit® software (an asset);
- Team spirit;
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
- Versatility and adaptability;
- Synthesis spirit;
- Rigor, meticulousness, and attention to detail;
- Bachelor's degree in building engineering;
- Attestation (ASP card) from the General Health and Safety course for construction sites;
- Membership in the Order of Engineers of Quebec.
