Description
We are looking for a User Experience Consultant - UX to join our team at the Quebec office.
This position is hybrid.
Tasks
- Collaborate closely with product and service experts, lead the reflection and discovery phases of the user experience for digital applications aimed at customers.
- Act as a client representative (users and project team needs) during the creation of mockups, lead collaborative discussions on design, and recommend an optimal user experience.
- Conduct discussions with users to obtain their approval for the proposed design strategy and provide feedback to the project team to translate the ideal vision into a functional user experience.
- Contribute to the creation of visuals and content writing.
- Understand the reality of the customer (usage processes) through workshops and consultations.
- Participate in the writing of the product notebook with business analysts.
- Orient content to meet the needs and expectations of external customers and the organization.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues (internal content writer specialist) to validate all content.
- The User Experience Consultant (UX) will also be responsible for ensuring standardization between different visual aspects, system content, and user needs, in collaboration with the internal ergonomist.
- Document management (catalog and harmonize all important documents).
- Participate in quality assurance work (acceptance tests) to ensure that the programming meets the initial requirements (visuals and content).
- Formulate recommendations regarding web writing expertise to various stakeholders involved in the production of transactional content.
- Participate in the identification of editorial needs and find the best ergonomic strategy to meet the needs and expectations of customers and internal users.
- Ensure the consistency of the process and work methods related to content production, for each project implementation team.
- Provide feedback to stakeholders involved in the overall production of content.
Requirements
- Hold a university degree (bachelor's degree) in interaction design, graphic design, human sciences (particularly cognitive sciences, psychology, or sociology), information technologies (computer science, software engineering, or computer engineering), or communication.
- Have five (5) years of experience in information system design, including three (3) years in portal and web application design.
- Have three (3) years of experience in user experience (definition of information architecture, navigation menu, interface design, and user research).
- Have completed three (3) mandates of 150 days each as a UX consultant for large-scale web projects (over 1,000 days) with a user-centered approach.
- Have completed one (1) mandate of 150 days within a large-scale project (over 1,000 days) involving customer consultations (usability tests, focus groups, etc.).
- Have completed two (2) mandates of 300 days each within two large-scale projects (over 1,000 days) where interfaces were designed for tablet and smartphone support.
- Have completed one (1) mandate of 150 days within a large-scale project (over 1,000 days) where designed interfaces comply with web accessibility standards (norms).
