Student Job - Process and Solutions Advisor – Analytics and Artificial Intelligence

What you need to know
- Department: Analytics Services Department
- Work mode: Hybrid (remote and in-person) depending on government policy
- Work schedule: 14 hours per week (21 hours during reading weeks and 35 hours during summer and holiday periods)
- Fields: Information Technology / Artificial Intelligence
- Salary: Minimum hourly rate of $27.19. A 6.5% increase is added to this rate to compensate for certain social benefits.

How to move things forward on a daily basis
- Identify and analyze concrete use cases to apply artificial intelligence (AI) within the Société;
- Participate in the development of analytical solutions in the Société's data warehouse according to the established development framework;
- Perform data extractions to meet the occasional needs of internal and external partners of the Société;
- Collaborate on the realization of proof of concepts (PoC) including analysis, design, development, and testing phases of AI solutions;
- Contribute to the writing, updating, and enrichment of technical and functional documentation for analytical and AI solutions;
- Explore and test innovative tools and platforms related to AI to push technological boundaries.

Qualities and skills we are looking for
- Interest in analytics and artificial intelligence (AI);
- Basic knowledge in machine learning or data science (e.g., predictive models, classification, regression, etc.);
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Curiosity and openness to learning new approaches or tools;
- Ability to work in a team.
The following will be considered as assets
- Experience with tools or languages such as Python and SQL;
- Knowledge in data visualization;
- Ability to manipulate data: cleaning, transformation, and integration of data from various sources.
- Job requirements
- In addition to matching the above profile, you must:
- Be enrolled full-time (or part-time if you are in your penultimate or final session of your studies) in one of the following fields of study:
- + Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering;
- + Bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence;
- + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science;
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Management.
- Be legally authorized to work in Canada;
- Have appropriate French language skills for the job assignments.
