The student job is to be filled at the Financial and Material Resources Department of the Vice-Presidency Administration.

Here’s what your daily job would look like
- Produce base reports necessary for needs analysis, by blocking spaces and finding original solutions to specific situations;
- Transform into preliminary sketches or, as the case may be, into final plans, the information collected regarding various modifications to arrangements and spaces to meet expressed needs;
- Coordinate the intervention of suppliers (movers, cable installers, telephone, electricians, security, housekeeping, etc.) for internal renovations;
- Participate in the acquisition process of required goods and services;
- Participate in site visits and various meetings regarding projects, to ensure rigorous follow-up of work progress;
- Provide support to professionals in real estate and material resources during analyses and evaluate difficulties encountered in projects;
- Contribute to implementing solutions ensuring the respect of the delivery schedule;
- Participate in the deployment of health and safety at work measures, files related to first aid in the workplace, and emergency measures;
- Participate in the ergonomics and adaptation of workstations.
Remuneration
The minimum hourly rate is: $27.19, and a 6.5% surcharge is added to this rate to compensate for certain social benefits.
Schedule: In addition to working during the day, Monday to Friday, you could enjoy adapted schedules, favoring the conciliation between work, studies, and personal life:
- Regular schedule of 14 hours/week during study sessions;
- Schedule of 21 hours/week during reading weeks;
- Schedule of 35 hours/week during the summer period and the Christmas break.
Hybrid remote work is possible, depending on organizational benchmarks.
Desired profile and application procedures
To hold a student job in the public service, you must be enrolled full-time in a first-cycle university studies program (or part-time if you are in the penultimate or final session of your studies) in the field of architecture.
More specifically, we are looking for a motivated student, eager to learn, and who demonstrates:
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively;
- Sense of initiative;
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Additionally, this person must:
- Have appropriate French language skills for the job's responsibilities;
- Be legally authorized to work in Canada.
