Salary
- $56,086 to $102,894 per year*
- Some bonuses apply, according to the terms of the collective agreement.
Your Role
- Determine a treatment and intervention plan in speech-language pathology within an intervention plan to meet the needs of the student;
- Contribute to the screening and recognition of students experiencing difficulties, with a focus on prevention and intervention;
- Intervene with a class or group of students facing common difficulties or with students facing particular issues to facilitate their learning and social integration;
- Advise and support the teacher and explain the nature of the student's communication difficulties so that they can adapt their teaching and educational materials;
- Provide relevant advice to develop attitudes and skills among family members and other school intervenants that promote the student's communication development;
- Advise the support staff, write reports of expertise, evaluation, balance sheet, and situation evolution, and make appropriate recommendations to support decision-making.
- Perform any other related tasks.
- Required Qualifications
Education
- Be a member of the Order of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists of Quebec
