Summary

As a Health Insurance Management Agent, you will be responsible for verifying, processing, and analyzing health insurance claim requests for specialized products. You will leverage your analytical mindset and attention to detail as you work with various contracts.

You will achieve the following functions

• Analyze the information contained in the files assigned to you, which require little or no internal and external intervention. Consider contractual provisions, medical and/or death certificates, government programs, internal policies, and procedures.
• Communicate primarily through correspondence the decisions made or recommendations, whether it is an acceptance of the claim, a request for additional information, or a refusal.
• Provide customer service by communicating with insured individuals, policyholders, and/or beneficiaries to obtain specific information and provide information on claims, and answer their calls, if applicable.
• Perform technical tasks to support the management of the files assigned to you.
• Interact with relevant computer systems to update data and make payments, if applicable, taking into account the particularities of the contracts and internal directives.

Your skills and qualifications

• Hold a College Diploma (DEC) in a relevant discipline
• Proficiency in French, both spoken and written, as well as advanced proficiency in English, both spoken and written, due to the nature of the tasks, work tools, or interactions with colleagues, partners, clients, or suppliers who are anglophones, or to meet the company's growth objectives.
