Mission of your work team
The Customer Experience and Information Management Department operates in a constantly evolving environment. It is responsible for information management, customer experience, and personal information protection. In this role, it contributes to the development of an organizational culture centered on customer needs, ensures rigorous information governance throughout its lifecycle, and ensures the implementation of compliant practices in information management.
Here’s what your daily job would look like
- Implement strategies and action plans related to the shift towards a "paperless" ministry and the management of existing paper, particularly in projects requiring a digital transition. Assist teams in sorting and cleaning up their paper documents, for example, by supporting their digitization;
- Create online video tutorials;
- Provide (consulting) assistance to Ministry teams in information management and the adoption of good practices in Microsoft 365 tools, such as SharePoint, for example, by helping them structure and configure their directories according to the Classification Plan and Retention Schedule;
- Prepare document transfers to Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec (BAnQ).
Compensation: Minimum hourly rate of $27.19. A 6.5% surcharge is added to this rate to compensate for certain social benefits.
Telework: Hybrid mode (telework and in-person) according to agreed-upon orientations
Expected start date: September 2026, for the fall session
Desired profile and application procedures
Conditions for holding a student job
- Be enrolled in full-time studies at the undergraduate or graduate level for the fall 2026 session at an institution recognized by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Higher Education OR be enrolled in part-time studies at the penultimate or final session of this program, in one of the following fields of study:
- + Document management and Archives;
- + Document management;
- + Information management;
+ Any other field deemed relevant to the job.
- Be authorized to work in Canada;
- Have appropriate French language skills for the job's responsibilities;
More specifically, we are looking for a motivated student, eager to learn, and who demonstrates: Self-reliance, diligence, and a good sense of organization;
Proactivity in means to achieve expected results;
Versatility in the execution of tasks;
Good knowledge of written and spoken French and mastery of Office Suite and Microsoft 365 applications (SharePoint, Teams, Excel).
