ENTERPRISE ARCHITECT

Description

We are looking for an Enterprise Architect to join our team of advisors at our Montreal or Quebec office.

This position is in a remote work mode, based in Quebec within a government organizational environment.

Tasks

• Develop IT strategies and define organizational technology goals;
• Drive standardization and guide decisions regarding technology choices;
• Analyze technological architecture trends and train IT teams on new frameworks and best practices;
• Design the organization's technology roadmap;
• Evaluate the potential use of artificial intelligence and new technologies to create an organizational advantage;
• Ensure the appropriate infrastructure is in place;
• Verify that new applications comply with standards, integrity, and organizational requirements;
• Address technical questions related to the application lifecycle and technological environments;
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of software and organizational technological trends;
• Align strategic objectives with technological directions and IT infrastructure;
• Determine how the technological framework can support the achievement of organizational goals;
• Analyze and synthesize information using metamodels and architecture diagrams;
• Use these diagrams to identify operational gaps;
• Evaluate application integration possibilities;
• Verify compliance with corporate and commercial standards;
• Write requests for proposals.
• Expected Deliverables:
• A technology roadmap;
• A request for proposal.

Requirements

• Hold a bachelor's degree in one of the following fields: information technology, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or pure and applied sciences;
• Possess 15 years of experience in the field of information resources;
• Possess a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience as an integration architect, including 2 years of experience as an enterprise architect in the definition and implementation of strategies;
• Have participated in 1 mandate as an enterprise architect in a comparable or larger government organizational environment.
• Assets:
• Experience in cybersecurity and vulnerability (security);
• Experience in implementing cloud-based solutions.
