Robot Programmer

Your Life at Canam

As a robot programmer, you will be responsible for programming, developing, optimizing, adapting, and updating programs (ABB) for the metallization process robots, for our BlastMan sandblasting robot, as well as for our welding robots. You will have the opportunity to participate in the startup and commissioning of your programs in a brand new, cutting-edge manufacturing facility.

With your AEC in industrial robotics or a related field, you will be able to apply your knowledge in an environment where technical challenges will not be lacking. Your problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and robotics knowledge will be put to use to provide technical support to your colleagues.

You will also be called upon to use tools such as RobotStudio, BlastMan Studio, Visual Component, and Weld Control. Your ability to learn and master new software will be very useful on a daily basis. Since you will need to communicate regularly with English-speaking stakeholders, good English skills, both oral and written, will be necessary.
