Security Configuration Monitoring Domain Manager

The Security Configuration Monitoring team is responsible for proactively strengthening the security posture of the Desjardins Movement. As the strategic manager of the security configuration monitoring domain, you will define the strategic direction and evolve the capabilities to detect configuration deviations, assess control effectiveness, and continuously improve the monitoring of critical configurations. You will mobilize security and IT teams to ensure the consistency, adoption, and effectiveness of controls protecting the organization's critical assets. Specifically, you will be responsible for:

• Defining the strategic vision of the domain and developing, tracking, and evolving its roadmap based on risks, business needs, and technological changes.
• Identifying blind spots, coverage gaps, and emerging risks, then defining and implementing initiatives to improve control monitoring and organizational resilience.
• Defining, optimizing, and evolving processes, practices, standards, and governance mechanisms related to configuration monitoring.
• Collaborating with multiple stakeholders to ensure the consistency of directions and alignment of initiatives.
• Defining, producing, and analyzing performance indicators, progress tracking, and executive summaries to evaluate strategic priorities and monitoring effectiveness.
• Acting as an expert advisor to managers and partners involved in projects under your responsibility.
• Mentoring, advising, and developing junior resources in their professional progression.

What you will bring

• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline
• Minimum of eight years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, security architecture, and governance
• Please note that other combinations of relevant education and experience may be considered
• Experience in designing or evolving large-scale security capabilities
• Experience in defining security roadmaps, governance frameworks, and security processes, as well as managing complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders
• Defensive security experience with a deep understanding of defense mechanisms and their effectiveness
• Experience in preparing executive briefings, strategic presentations, and recommendations for decision-makers, combined with excellent ability to communicate complex technical concepts to executive and non-technical audiences
• French language proficiency required
• Strategic thinking, Interpersonal relationship management
