As part of the deployment of the new *Professional Studies Certificate (PSC)* in shipbuilding, we are looking for one or more teachers willing to put their experience and expertise at the service of the next generation.
Are you a professional in the field and enjoy sharing your knowledge? You don't need to master the entire program: we are looking for people with expertise in one or more of the following skills.
Skills sought
- Health and safety on a shipyard
- Use of tools
- Reading plans
- Construction of temporary structures
- Operations of dry docking and launching a ship
- Installation of electrical cables
- Insulation work
- Metallurgy work, including surface preparation of metals
- Installation of finishing elements
- Painting work
Profile sought
- *We would like to meet people who possess:*
- significant experience in one or more of the mentioned fields;
- a desire to share their expertise and field experience;
- the ability to transmit their knowledge and support students in developing their skills;
- good teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Experience in the maritime sector? Even better!
Experience in the maritime or shipbuilding industry is a valuable asset and will be considered favorably.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION START DATE: November 16, 2026 WORK LOCATION: Bernard-Gariépy Center or other locations designated by the Business Service SALARY: Legally qualified (certificate or authorization): $82.77 per hour*
Not legally qualified: $76.61 per hour*
- The remuneration includes inherent tasks related to teaching, such as preparation and correction for the period, opening the classroom, waiting time (including student break time).
