TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop a culture of health and safety prevention;
  • Conduct on-site work inspections, either alone or accompanied;
  • Perform and review task safety analyses;
  • Provide advisory roles to managers;
  • Monitor performance;
  • Participate in risk assessments for new projects or equipment;
  • Ensure the design and dissemination of information and training sessions (capsule);
  • Coordinate health and safety committee activities;
  • Participate in corporate accident prevention programs;
  • Conduct accident investigations and follow up on corrective actions if necessary;
  • Participate in the start-of-day meetings for technicians at the depot;
  • Accompany workers during light work returns;
  • Organize various prevention activities;
  • Participate in the integration of new employees (BAT);
  • Monitor various health/safety programs (first aid, evacuation, glasses);
  • Evaluate job positions and employee needs;
  • Submit SST reports and follow up on files (commission and internal system);
  • Participate in SST committee meetings;
  • Follow up on employees in light work (meetings, schedules, and tasks).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Health and safety training or experience as a construction site security agent (mandatory);
  • Experience in the telecommunications domain - Mandatory;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Ability to negotiate, influence, and resolve conflicts;
  • Ability to frequently travel to work sites;
  • Knowledge of the Office suite;
  • Excellent written French;
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors (summer/winter).

  • Organized and structured;
  • Ability to work on multiple files simultaneously;
  • Ability to work autonomously;
  • Availability and flexible hours starting at 6 AM;
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license.
