Your Tasks

As a Class 1 truck driver (long haul), you'll be in charge of a key role that gets our products moving and ensures their delivery where they're expected. Your workspace:

• You'll be responsible for the equipment and merchandise entrusted to you (*trucks are not assigned, possibility of assignment to manual or automatic trailer truck)
• Perform deliveries, loading/unloading
• Conduct inspections (safety rounds) and report anomalies
• Ensure compliance (transport documents, traffic rules, and safety)
• Plan routes and manage unexpected events on the road
• Fill out required reports and adhere to schedules

The Qualities of a Class 1 Driver (Truck Driver) - Long Haul

• You'll naturally fit this role if:
• You hold a valid Class 1 driver's license with FM endorsement
• You have 2 to 3 years of experience driving heavy vehicles
• You possess a valid passport
• You're comfortable with manual and automatic trucks
• You have basic mechanical knowledge and traffic rules
• You're bilingual (French and English)
• You're safety-oriented, autonomous, flexible, and recognized for your excellent customer service
• You have winter driving and Canada/U.S. route experience (asset)
• You hold a FAST card (asset)
