Position Overview

We are looking for a qualified and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate is caring, patient, and committed to supporting children’s emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
• Supervise children at all times to ensure their safety and well-being
• Encourage positive behavior and emotional development
• Support children’s independence, creativity, and curiosity through play
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom
• Observe and document children’s development
• Communicate effectively with parents and team members
• Follow all daycare policies, health, and safety regulations
• Assist children with daily routines such as meals, hygiene, and transitions
• Participate in daycare activities, events, and outings

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent recognized by the Ministère de la Famille
• Valid First Aid certificate (CPR for children)
• Valid background check
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for working with young children
• Bilingual (English/French) is an asset
• Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
• Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
