Transit to Employment Course

Overview

• The "Transit to Employment Course"
• Consists of a school-type program in collaboration with Emploi Québec and the Marguerite Bourgeois Adult Education Commission CJEA, designed to help individuals with certain mental health challenges access employment or return to studies
• Classes are held from 08:30 to 12:30, Monday to Friday, with two weeks of vacation in the summer and at the end of the year
• It is a continuous ISP course without a set end date, at the student's pace
• It is intended for adults aged 18 and over
• Participants must be eligible and receive social assistance to be admitted to the course
• Service Québec reimburses students at a rate of $130.00 per month plus an OPUS public transportation card
• Employment Type: Apprenticeship
• Compensation: Up to $130.00 per month
• Location: In-person
