As part of the maintenance team at the Distribution Centers and reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Mechanic will utilize their knowledge to perform various repair, installation, and modification tasks, as well as preventive maintenance follow-ups. Responsibilities include:

Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular inspections of equipment and systems and ensure preventive maintenance of these. Document interventions in the maintenance system (CARL). Identify potential needs and propose solutions. Ensure tracking of various permits (Chalk Permit, locking, etc.).

Industrial Repair and Maintenance: Respond to service requests from the distribution center and ensure follow-up with various subcontractors. Perform repair and maintenance work on buildings effectively and appropriately.

Emergency Call Management: Participate in emergency call rotations and intervene as needed to provide support to operations outside regular working hours.

All other tasks related to the job.

Education: Holder of a D.E.C. in industrial mechanics or D.E.P. in industrial mechanics or electromechanics, or any combination of relevant education and experience.

Experience: Relevant experience in preventive maintenance and general maintenance (asset) and building maintenance.

Skills: Manual skills, health and safety awareness, sense of initiative, autonomy, and responsibility. Be resourceful and have a concern for well-done work.
