- Provide a professional, warm, and consistent service while directing and supervising Fairmont Or staff, ensuring compliance with established rules and procedures.
- Monitor the upkeep of the establishment and review reservations to ensure customer satisfaction by meeting their needs.
- Offer concierge services with in-depth knowledge of the destination and local attractions to enhance the customer experience during their stay.
- Develop sales programs to increase revenue, and quickly address customer issues by recording them and alerting the relevant departments.
- Train Fairmont Or staff, maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their loyalty, and provide accurate information about local tourist sites.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a concierge or front desk agent in a 4-star hotel, with prior supervisory experience.
- Excellent communication skills in French and English, essential for effectively interacting with a predominantly anglophone clientele.
- Proficiency in a PMS (Property Management System) and Microsoft Windows applications, as well as excellent English and French skills, with a third language being an asset.
- A hospitality management degree and membership in Les Clefs D’Or are assets.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, the ability to work under pressure, and maintain a professional appearance.
- Strong ability to focus on customer needs while remaining calm and courteous, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team.
