The Inuulitsivik Health Centre (CSI) is dedicated to providing quality health and social services to Nunavimmiut living in the seven communities along the coast of Hudson Bay. To contribute to our mission, we are currently seeking a Public Health Dental Hygienist. Salary: * Between $28.43 and $40.92 per hour, depending on experience

Conditions: * Remote location allowance (no dependents) between $233.38 and $275.309 per week, depending on the village * Remote location allowance (with dependents) between $411.40 and $485.36 per week, depending on the village * Retention allowance between $139.13 and $272.48 per week, depending on the village and seniority *
Cost of living allowance: between $58.40 and $188.72 per week, depending on the village Available Opportunities - Public Health Dental Hygienist - Grand North (Villages along the coast of Hudson Bay) * Full-time permanent employment * 35 hours per week Main Responsibilities - Public Health Dental Hygienist - Grand North (Villages along the coast of Hudson Bay) * Implement the public dental health prevention program in collaboration with the Nunavik dental advisor; * Act as a prevention promoter for the general population (target groups: preschool and school-age children, SIPPE homes, and pregnant women) * Collaborate on various screening, education, and prevention programs in public dental health; * Assist the dental advisor in public dental health in the performance of their duties; * Apply preventive dental care and teach good dental hygiene techniques; * Provide preventive dental care at daycare and school using the mobile dental unit; * Ensure the application of topical agents against dental caries; * Apply dental sealants; * Teach the targeted population the importance of a healthy diet; * Accompany and educate SIPPE workers and midwives by transmitting good dental hygiene techniques and all information related to pregnancy, baby development, and child dental development; * Collaborate with the multidisciplinary youth team members; * Maintain inventory and place orders for dental supplies according to the public dental health program; * Produce administrative documents with the help of the dental advisor; Requirements - Public Health Dental Hygienist - ... (Villages along the coast of Hudson Bay) Academic * Hold a Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in dental hygiene techniques from a recognized school by the competent ministry Other Requirements * Be a member of the Professional Order of Dental Hygienists of Quebec * Bilingualism (French, English) * Inuktitut is an asset * Be able to travel to the 7 communities of Hudson Bay.
