What You’ll Do

• You will work closely with customers at flagship manufacturing companies to understand their requirements and create effective solutions/designs using Vention’s 3D MachineBuilder and library of modular components.
• Lead design review sessions with clients to provide feedback and insight on their design.
• Qualify projects and support the sales team with project feasibility checks.
• Write requests for proposal for third party components and interact with potential suppliers
• Create custom parts and drawings using standard CAD software, occasionally.
• Support the deployment of machines and after sales activities.
• Act as the voice of the customer. You will advocate for client needs in product roadmap and Application Engineering requirements planning.

What You Bring to the Table

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the OEM or System Integrator field, with experience in a broad range of industrial automation applications is required (i.e EOAT, Conveyors, Packaging, Welding, etc.)
• A Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any other related engineering field
• A take charge attitude with a solution-oriented mindset
• You thrive in fast-paced environments which requires to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• A curiosity to learn, a collaborative mindset, and a drive to contribute to something meaningful

What You Will Do

• You will work closely with customers at flagship manufacturing companies to understand their needs and design effective solutions using Vention's proprietary 3D MachineBuilder software and library of modular components.
• In collaboration with account managers, you will lead client design review sessions and present your solutions.
• You will support the technical qualification of projects submitted by the sales team.
• You will write requests for proposals for third-party components and interact with potential suppliers.
• You will occasionally create custom parts and drawings using standard CAD software.
• You will support machine deployment and after-sales activities.
• You will advocate for the needs of the engineering team and collaborate with the product development team to establish future priorities.

What You Bring to the Team

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in automated equipment development or robotics. Experience in a broad range of industrial automation applications is required (e.g., end-of-arm tooling, conveyors, packaging, welding, etc.).
• A degree in mechanical engineering or a related engineering field.
• A proactive attitude and a desire to find solutions to problems.
• Comfort working under pressure and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A curiosity to learn, a collaborative mindset, and a desire to contribute to a meaningful project.
