Senior Service Technician – Electromechanical Technician | CNC

We are looking for a senior service technician / electromechanical technician who enjoys understanding how things work, solving complex problems, and taking charge on the field.

We buy, recondition, install, and maintain CNC machine tools and high-precision industrial equipment across North America.

Our team is small, specialized, and growing. Technical service is at the heart of our company.

Diagnostic and Technical Service

• Diagnose and solve complex problems on CNC machines
• Intervene on mechanical, electrical, and control systems: drives, servomotors, controllers, sensors, pneumatic systems, etc.
• Perform troubleshooting both on-site and remotely
• Provide technical support to customers via phone and remote connection

Installation and Reconditioning

• Participate in the reconditioning of CNC machines in our Saint-Jérôme workshop
• Take charge of machine installations at our customers' sites
• Perform adjustments, calibrations, and tests necessary for production
• Train operators on equipment usage

Become a Technical Reference

• Make necessary technical decisions on the field
• Support other technicians when a more complex problem arises
• Share your expertise with less experienced team members
• Participate in improving our diagnostic, installation, and service methods
• The profile we are looking for
• You could be the right person if you:
• Have training in electromechanical and industrial mechanics
• Have several years of experience in technical service for industrial equipment
• Are very strong in electrical diagnostic, control, and mechanics
• Are comfortable with computers and industrial control systems
• Have already worked as a field service technician
• Are known for your resourcefulness and ability to find solutions
• Are autonomous, organized, and capable of making decisions
• Enjoy working directly with customers and providing excellent service
• Are able to communicate in French and English
• Are available for regular travel to Canada and the United States

Experience with machine tools, CNC, machining centers, or automated equipment is a significant asset.

Employment Type: Full-time, permanent

Travel: Canada and United States
