As an Industrial Sales Representative, you will play a key role in the continuous growth of Newmapak. You will develop new business opportunities, manage strategic accounts, and guide manufacturing leaders in selecting and implementing the best packaging and automation solutions.
You will collaborate with business owners, plant directors, operations managers, engineering teams, maintenance teams, and procurement professionals. This is a sales-consulting role for someone who can quickly establish credibility, understand technical needs, and confidently lead high-value sales discussions.
Your responsibilities
- Develop and implement a territory and account development strategy to achieve ambitious sales and margin goals.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the food, beverage, chemical, household cleaning, personal care, and other related manufacturing sectors.
- Build strong business relationships with decision-makers, plant management, engineering teams, and procurement personnel.
- Conduct client visits to understand their production challenges, capacity needs, quality goals, and growth projects.
- Present Newmapak solutions for filling, packaging, conveying, automation, and turnkey line integration with confidence.
- Prepare proposals, submissions, presentations, and ROI analyses demonstrating the value and return on investment of the proposed solutions.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to qualification, solution development, negotiation, closing, and post-installation follow-up.
- Collaborate with technical teams, suppliers, service teams, and operations to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
- Develop existing accounts by identifying opportunities for modernization, line expansion, equipment replacement, and additional sales.
- Maintain a rigorous sales pipeline, reliable forecasts, and up-to-date activity records.
- Your profile
- Demonstrated experience in industrial, technical, production equipment, automation, manufacturing, packaging, or B2B solutions sales.
- Strong experience in new business development and long-term customer relationship management.
- Comfortable communicating with decision-makers at all levels, from the production floor to the executive suite.
- Natural ability to understand customer needs, ask the right questions, and translate technical challenges into compelling solutions.
- Excellent business sense, negotiation skills, and results-oriented mindset.
- Strong presentation, communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
- Self-motivation, discipline in territory management, and ability to drive momentum in a complex sales cycle.
- Valid driver's license and availability for client visits within the assigned territory.
- This position requires professional proficiency in both English and French (oral and written).
- Salary and commission to be discussed based on experience
- Compensation: Starting at $70,000 per year
