Equipment Associate

As an Equipment Associate at United Rentals, you will be required to perform a variety of manual tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the division. Your primary objective will be to provide work assistance to help technicians, sales staff, and other division employees in meeting customer needs.

Additional tasks include the following:

• Check equipment for damage, usage hours, mileage, and fuel level upon return
• Inspect rental equipment for safety stickers, safety compliance, and ensure equipment is in good working condition
• Clean all equipment and maintain a clean work area
• Load and unload rental equipment and prepare equipment for rental
• Check and demonstrate equipment for customers as well as drive a delivery truck to pick up and drop off equipment
• Other tasks assigned as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma and desire to learn
• Effective communication, multi-tasking, and teamwork skills
• Particular attention to safety
• Superior customer service skills
• Ability to lift equipment up to 23 kg.
• Valid driver's license
• Knowledge of rental equipment, an asset
• Language requirement: Proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written.
