What is the job opportunity?

As a Financial Planner, Investment and Retirement Planning at RBC, you establish relationships with current and potential RBC clients and create customized investment solutions for them. In addition to your own client solicitation and networking activities, you are fully supported by internal partners who recommend clients to you. Your creativity, motivation, and desire to generate new investment sales drive you to offer world-renowned advice and solutions to help clients achieve their long-term goals. With your unlimited earning potential, you can truly create the future you want for yourself and the clients you advise.

What will your tasks be?

• Offer personalized financial planning advice and solutions through our unmatched range of investment and portfolio solutions, which include RBC mutual fund solutions and some third-party solutions that are the best in their category
• Acquire new clients and assets and consolidate relationships with current clients and their assets
• Guide clients to the appropriate RBC team members to help them constantly meet their needs
• Acquire external referral sources through networking, marketing, and your influencers
• What do you need to succeed?

Requirements

• Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or in the process of completing it
• Registered Mutual Fund Representative (success in the Canadian Investment Course or the Canadian Securities Course)
• At least two years of experience in the financial planning field
• Proven networking and client acquisition skills
• Ability to cultivate strong relationships with partners
• Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will serve both French and English-speaking clients.
