Allocation Table Analyst

Under the direction of the Replenishment Manager, the Allocation Table Analyst will be responsible for:

• Creating allocation tables to manage article distributions, sales forecasts, cyclic programs, and seasonal programs.
• Coordinating the seasonal ordering process (tracking schedules, replenishment, and suppliers).
• Collaborating with the purchasing team to ensure incoming inventory tracking.
• Providing a seasonal summary to the purchasing team, marketing, and suppliers.
• Adjusting allocation tables based on stock availability, store adjustments, etc.
• Tracking store deliveries against ordered quantities to ensure accuracy and compliance of deliveries.
• Tracking excess stock inventory and collaborating with the purchasing team and suppliers to clear stock.
• Measuring success against key performance indicators (KPIs) based on optimizing seasonal allocation table service levels, reducing excess stock related to allocation tables, and allocation table accuracy (minimizing store returns).
• Providing reports on response rates and service levels.
• Job Requirements
• You hold a university degree in operations management or a related field, paired with 1 to 3 years of experience in replenishment or logistics.
• You are proficient in the Office suite (Excel at intermediate to advanced level).
• Knowledge of SAP is an asset.
• You enjoy working in a team and stand out for your effective communication skills, both in English and French (oral and written). The person will need to work with peers from other provinces in the development, implementation, and deployment of tools and processes across Canada, and also provide support to Sobeys employees across Canada.
