Personal Finance Advisor

As a Personal Finance Advisor at Desjardins Chaudière, you are responsible for developing and maintaining a trust-based business relationship with members and clients to ensure their satisfaction. Your role involves listening to the needs of members and clients, providing tailored financial advice, and guiding them in choosing appropriate solutions to achieve their financial goals. You are responsible for a client base consisting of individual members and businesses and are the preferred contact for your clientele. Mastery of interpersonal relationships is then an essential skill. You propose and implement offers related to investment, financing, and protection, leveraging your ability to achieve results. Your expertise ensures the consistency between member and client satisfaction, business objectives, sound and prudent risk management, and profitability. You maintain collaborations with various partners and experts to propose integrated strategies in response to the needs of members and clients. More specifically, you will be involved in:

• Advising members and clients on the best strategies and agreeing on the results to be achieved.
• Acting as the business relationship manager, evaluating satisfaction and service quality, ensuring follow-ups, and recommending required improvements.
• Staying informed about financial news, market trends, and best practices in your field.
• Performing various representation activities and participating in the presence in the industry.

What you will bring

• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline
• At least one year of relevant experience
• Certificate of Representative in Collective Savings – Financial Markets Authority
• Please note that other combinations of relevant education and experience may be considered
• Knowledge of French is required
• Knowledge of financial, economic, political, and legislative news
• Knowledge of all products and services intended for Desjardins members and those offered by Desjardins Business Centers, its components, and Desjardins' distribution networks and those of the competition
• Knowledge of debt management
• Knowledge and understanding of compliance with laws on the distribution of financial products and services
• Knowledge of the philosophy and functioning of a financial services cooperative
• Knowledge of policies, legislation, and standards related to products and services offered by the Caisse
• Knowledge of the Desjardins business process and service standards
• Knowledge of techniques for evaluating and following up on a financing request for individuals
