The Riôtel Matane is looking for a: Banquet Server

Reporting to the banquet manager, the banquet server participates in the preparation, setup, and breakdown of rooms for various events. They ensure that the spaces are clean, well-appointed, and ready to welcome clients, while contributing to the smooth running of the events.

Main Responsibilities

• Prepare and arrange rooms according to the needs of each event;
• Set up tables, chairs, tablecloths, dishes, and other necessary equipment;
• Perform the setup and breakdown of rooms;
• Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of spaces before, during, and after events;
• Perform serving and clearing when required;
• Collaborate with the service team and other departments to ensure the smooth running of events;
• Respond to customer requests with courtesy and professionalism;
• Adhere to hygiene, safety, and establishment standards;
• Perform any other tasks necessary for the smooth functioning of banquets.

Desired Profile

• Dynamism, resourcefulness, and team spirit;
• Good physical capacity to move equipment and stand for long periods;
• Attention to detail and organizational skills;
• Positive and professional attitude;
• Experience in food service, hospitality, or customer service, an asset;
• Availability to work according to event schedules, including evenings and weekends.
• Knowledge of English (an asset) *
