Warehouse Clerk
The Store Manager is looking for a key person to join their team. Reporting to the Store Manager, the primary role of the Warehouse Clerk is to serve and support customers in selecting, handling, and retrieving materials, while ensuring the supply, safe organization of the yard, and inventory tracking.
More specifically, the incumbent will have the following main responsibilities:
- Provide quality customer service by guiding the customer in the lumber yard, helping them select, transport, and deposit goods in their vehicle as needed;
- Manually handle materials or use a forklift;
- Verify product codes and contribute to inventory tracking;
- Accompany and direct customers in the lumber yard;
- Ensure a check of the merchandise retrieved by the customer upon exiting the yard;
- Perform the supply of goods under their responsibility;
- Restock merchandise, ensuring they are accessible and placed safely;
- Fill customers' propane tanks;
- Operate a forklift (if needed);
- Comply with the store's health, safety, and loss prevention policies in effect.
- Additionally, our future colleague stands out with the following skills:
- Ability to communicate and work in a team;
- Willingness to learn and provide quality customer service;
- Capacity to lift and transport loads regularly, up to 50 lbs;
- Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments;
- Be autonomous, energetic, and resourceful;
