Description

The pharmacist provides quality pharmaceutical services and oversees the laboratory technician team. They must comply with the Code of Ethics of their profession, the Pharmacy Act and its regulations, and all provincial and federal laws.

Responsibilities

• Monitor medication therapy
• Ensure the verification of prescriptions and analysis of the pharmacological file
• Respond to customer needs by providing appropriate advice
• Adequately document patient files and follow up with patients as required
• Monitor and coordinate laboratory activities
• Work closely with pharmacy technical assistants to provide excellent customer service
• Ensure the preparation, packaging, distribution, and storage of medications and pharmaceutical products

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharm.) or Doctorate in Pharmacy (Pharm. D.)
• Valid practice permit issued by the Order of Pharmacists of Quebec
• Demonstrated listening and empathy skills
• Communication and team management skills
• Team spirit
• Problem-solving ability
• Organizational skills
• Strong customer service sense
• Attention to detail and meticulousness
• Excellent computer skills: Word, Excel, Assyst-Rx

The position is offered by the pharmacist owner(s).

Experience: 1 to 6 months of experience

• French Language: Very good knowledge
• English Language: No knowledge
• Other: Word, Excel, Assyst Rx
