Ste-Rose Residence is a private RPA that accommodates elderly individuals with loss of autonomy and/or affected by neurocognitive disorders, such as Alzheimer's. Our mission is to provide the elderly person with an evolving living environment, allied with personalized care and services, within a responsible management framework.

Job Nature:

Under the authority of the head of nursing care, the nursing coordinator plans, directs, organizes, and controls the activities of care, assistance, and hygiene, ensuring their quality, while ensuring the well-being of the clientele and the staff under their responsibility. She establishes and maintains a close trust relationship with the residents and their families, as well as with the CISSS. She rigorously ensures the compliance of the care services according to the best clinical practices and always ensures the respect of the RPA's accreditation criteria and the compliance of the norms and requirements of the certification. She participates in the recruitment and integration of the care and assistance staff. She ensures the management of the human and technical resources entrusted to her. She also provides, when required, nursing care and/or auxiliary nursing care.

Qualities and Profile Sought

  • Be a member in good standing of the OIIQ (mandatory);
  • Minimum of two years of experience in care, in RPA, with elderly individuals with loss of autonomy;
  • Minimum of one year of experience in personnel management (a significant asset);
  • Experience with a clientele affected by major neurocognitive disorders (a significant asset);
  • Up-to-date RCR and PDSB training (proof to be provided);
  • Rigor, clinical judgment, and ability to implement concrete solutions;
  • Sense of organization and planning ability;
  • Autonomy, creativity, and acute sense of customer service;
  • Proficiency in French and English, both oral and written (a significant asset);
  • Proficiency in Office Suite;
  • Knowledge of the SyMo care software (an asset);
  • Knowledge of care hour balances, Iso-SMAF profiles, and OCCI (an asset)
