Be willing to work on a variable schedule; days, evenings, and one weekend a month.

Job responsibilities

Lead associates and encourage them to build relationships with customers and colleagues to provide exceptional customer service and generate gross sales while having excellent knowledge of merchandising and products.

Ensure there is a sufficient staffing level within the department to meet the company's needs.

Manage associate performance by offering opportunities for development, communicating responsibilities and goals, recognizing and rewarding efforts, and providing continuous feedback.

Review numerous reports, including sales reports, and collaborate with the assistant store director to develop recommendations to improve stock levels, upper shelf organization plans, and related product merchandising to stimulate sales.

Ensure stock availability at all times and compliance with upper shelf organization plans.

Analyze, resolve, and appropriately address customer issues.

Communicate store sales, events, and promotional activities during daily and weekly department meetings.

Ensure compliance with and clear communication of all safety and resource protection standards and protocols.
