What is the job opportunity about?

RBC Dominion Securities is looking for an Associate Financial Advisor to join a dynamic advisory services team specializing in wealth management services for an informed client base. In this role, you will deepen client relationships by offering informed advice and effective support to clients and investment advisors. You will also play a key role in identifying and fostering new business opportunities.

What will your tasks be?

• Respond to client account inquiries and take responsibility for follow-ups, as needed.
• Help develop and execute business plans, client segmentation plans, and customer service plans.
• Identify and seize business opportunities from existing client bases for asset consolidation, recommendations, etc.
• Co-manage the client acquisition pipeline (prospects/leads); collaborate with the advisory services team to close new sales.
• Perform client operations and rebalance portfolios.
• Conduct continuous research on markets and investments, providing constant updates to the advisory services team.
• Support the advisory services team and clients through wealth management practices. Help gather relevant information, coordinate activities with wealth management advisors, track progress, and more.
• What do you need to succeed?

Requirements

• Registered Representative with the OCRI
• University degree
• Growth mindset and goal achievement
• Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will serve a client base and do business with colleagues and partners who are Francophones and Anglophones across Canada
• At least four years of experience as a professional in the investment sector
• Solid practical knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong customer service skills
