Description

You are not just looking for a job. You want to build something.

Quick Paddle Boards 2 Go Inc. is developing a unique network of self-service paddle board stations. Our stations allow for booking, payment, and remote management through an integrated technological platform. The company holds the exclusive rights in North America, Central America, and South America for these revolutionary machines in the leisure and tourism industry. A unique concept that innovates in the rental of paddle boards. 100% autonomous machines, powered by solar energy and connected to the internet to facilitate management, rental, and installation anywhere.

In preparation for our deployment for the 2027 season, we are looking for an ambitious, autonomous, and entrepreneurial person to directly participate in the development of our franchise network in Quebec.

We are not looking for a simple salesperson.

We are looking for a builder who can identify, qualify, and support the best franchise candidates while contributing to the establishment of a solid and scalable development structure.

The Position

As the Director of Franchise Development Network, you will be responsible for the development of territories, the selection process of candidates, and the advancement of files until signing and financing.

You will work directly with the company's executives and play a decisive role in the growth of the network.

The position will start part-time, approximately 12 to 15 hours per week, with the possibility of evolving into a full-time permanent role as the network grows and results are achieved.

Your main responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the pool of franchise candidates.
  • Respond quickly to new information requests.
  • Conduct exploratory calls and concept presentations.
  • Evaluate the entrepreneurial, financial, and professional profile of candidates.
  • Coordinate application forms and confidentiality agreements.
  • Support candidates in their territory selection.
  • Collaborate with financial partners and track the progress of financing requests.
  • Organize meetings for presentation and validation with the management.
  • Ensure the follow-up of agreements, deposits, and schedules.
  • Maintain a structured registry of all candidates, communications, received documents, next steps, and follow-ups.
  • Produce a weekly dashboard on the progress of applications.
  • Participate in the development of recruitment and prospecting strategies.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the franchise development process.
  • Prepare the transfer of new franchisees to the installation, training, and operations teams.
  • Protect the image, values, and long-term interests of Quick Paddle Boards 2 Go.
  • The desired profile
  • Minimum of five years of experience in business development, consultative sales, commercial financing, franchise, or equipment sales.
  • Experience with transactions or investments of $100,000 or more.
  • Excellent ability to establish trust-based relationships with entrepreneurs and investors.
  • Ability to seriously qualify a candidate and reject a file that does not meet the criteria.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
  • Very good organization and mastery of digital tools to track candidates, communications, documents, and next steps.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a startup company.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, initiative, and strong results-oriented mindset.
  • Strong French-English bilingualism is highly sought after.
  • Knowledge of the Quebec market and the franchise industry is considered an important asset.
  • Experience in the tourism, outdoor, leisure, equipment, or commercial financing sectors is considered an asset.
  • Compensation

We offer a structure that allows you to directly share in the success of the network development:

  • Annual fixed salary of $24,000 to $30,000, depending on experience, for an initial schedule of approximately 12 to 15 hours per week.
  • Target commission of approximately $7,500 for each fully approved, signed, and financed franchise, according to the terms of the compensation program.
  • Possibility of additional bonuses when annual development and quality objectives are exceeded.
  • Anticipated total annual remuneration of $54,000 to $75,000 with four to six financed franchises, with the potential for higher earnings based on results.
  • Reimbursement of pre-approved travel expenses.

Commissions are paid on completed and financed sales. A territory reservation, letter of intent, or unfinanced application does not constitute a sale entitled to the full commission.

Possibility of becoming a shareholder

We want to develop a long-term relationship with the right person. After an initial period of 24 to 48 months to demonstrate results, leadership, and commitment to the company, the selected person may become eligible for a long-term equity program that may lead to the progressive acquisition of shares or options in Franchise Quick Paddle Boards 2 Go Inc.

This possibility will be evaluated based on:

  • The number and quality of franchises developed.
  • The solidity of the development process implemented.
  • The success of openings and operational transfers.
  • The contribution to the strategic development of the company.
  • The ability to eventually assume more significant management responsibilities.
  • The long-term commitment to Quick Paddle Boards 2 Go.

Any participation in the company's capital will be conditional on the achievement of specific objectives, a minimum engagement period, and the official approval of shareholders. It does not constitute an automatic guarantee tied to the hiring.

What we offer

  • The opportunity to participate in the creation of an entirely new network.
  • A unique technological concept and easily deployable.
  • A great deal of autonomy in organizing work.
  • A direct relationship with executives and decision-makers.
  • A remuneration strongly linked to results.
  • The potential to evolve into a full-time permanent position.
  • The real possibility of playing a management role and eventually becoming a shareholder.
  • The opportunity to contribute to potential expansion elsewhere in Canada and the Americas.
  • To apply
  • Please submit your resume along with a short text answering the following questions:

1. What experience do you have in business development, franchise, or sales of significant investments?

2. Why do you want to participate in the development of a startup company and network?

3. What would be your action plan for your first 90 days?

Applications will be evaluated based on experience, previous results, entrepreneurial spirit, and alignment with the values of Quick Paddle Boards 2 Go Inc.
