Description

Solution SFT is seeking a Portfolio Management, Risk, and Benefits Advisor for a client project in the public sector in the city of Quebec. In this role, you will: Activities to Perform:

  • Participate in the establishment, development, and improvement of processes ensuring compliance with standards and norms in portfolio, risk, and capacity management * Analyze management data and provide reports to relevant stakeholders * Manage organizational capacity and risks, in collaboration with the BGP and stakeholders * Contribute to the establishment, evolution, and optimization of management and tracking tools, including the production of dashboards (Power BI from MS Project) * Monitor resource capacity and provide periodic reports to project managers * Participate in the identification, analysis, and tracking of project issues, risks, and benefits * Validate the accuracy of information presented in project progress reports * Conduct analyses and provide recommendations to the management and relevant stakeholders * Plan, structure, and manage the project portfolio in alignment with the organization's strategic directions * Analyze, evaluate, and prioritize projects based on their added value, risks, costs, expected benefits, and organizational capacity * Monitor portfolio performance and benefit realization, including analyzing deviations and recommending corrective measures * Deploy, maintain, and evolve governance mechanisms, processes, and portfolio management tools * Support arbitration and prioritization exercises related to resource utilization * Produce analyses, dashboards, and reports for the executive team and decision-making bodies * Serve as an advisory role to managers and stakeholders and contribute to the continuous improvement of project and benefit management practices * Design and conduct communication, training, and workshop activities * Write communications, reports, balances, and templates tailored to the target audiences * Conduct research and analysis, as requested by the responsible authority, on specific situations or issues

Requirements

  • University degree in administration, project management, IT, or a related field * Minimum 5 years of experience in portfolio management and 300 person-days on mandates related to capacity and risk management * Proficiency in portfolio management (PPM), risk analysis, cost, value, and organizational capacity practices, processes, and tools * Experience in project governance, prioritization, arbitration, and benefit realization, with the production of dashboards and reports for the executive team * Excellent written and spoken French skills
