As part of the Environmental Characterization and Rehabilitation team, as an Environmental Project Manager: Your Responsibilities

• Actively participate in field and office work;
• Plan, organize, and coordinate the execution and management of projects for industrial, government, and private clients in the fields of environmental assessment, environmental characterization, and site rehabilitation; soil and groundwater (Phases I, II, III, IV);
• Conduct studies and evaluations, preliminary and detailed concepts;
• Coordinate technical personnel for site activities;
• Serve as a key contact for our clients to discuss mandates and propose solutions to their problems;
• Compile data and write reports;
• Develop the Canadian market (Quebec, Northern Quebec, Ontario, Labrador, Eastern provinces) for the Environmental Characterization and Rehabilitation department and set mandate acquisition goals with the Director;
• Maintain liaison with stakeholders and respond to client requests.

Qualifications

• Your Profile
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, geological, mining, or water engineering, or geology, with an environmental option or equivalent;
• Master's degree or microprogram in environmental assessment (an asset);
• Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec or the Order of Geologists of Quebec;
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a project manager;
• Relevant experience in the environmental field (an asset);
• Strong synthesis ability, quick decision-making and execution;
• Autonomy and resourcefulness;
• Knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to environmental characterization and rehabilitation and the intervention guide and environmental sampling guides;
• Knowledge of the intervention guide of the MELCC;
• Excellent French writing and speaking skills (bilingual French/English is an asset);
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle;
• ASP safety card for work sites.
