Construction Site Supervisor

Drolet Construction is currently looking for a construction site supervisor.

Under the responsibility of the general site supervisor, the supervisor is responsible for the daily supervision and management of activities on a construction site.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and direct daily activities on the site;
• Ensure the availability of necessary resources (equipment, labor, materials);
• Collaborate with various subcontractors to ensure plans are followed;
• Ensure with the project manager that the budget and schedule are followed;
• Maintain a daily site log;
• Inspect completed work to ensure it follows the plans and estimates;
• Manage site supplies;
• Communicate and collaborate with the project manager on the progress of the site;
• Ensure the implementation and compliance with safety rules on the site;
• Identify and evaluate potential risks and implement safety measures;
• Organize safety meetings with various site participants to promote prevention;
• Organize 3-week schedules with subcontractors;
• Organize weekly meetings with subcontractors;
• Review and master plans, estimates, addenda, etc.;
• Perform other related or complementary tasks.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a similar position in the construction field;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Holding a CCQ certification is an asset;
• Knowledge of MS Office suite.
