Full-time Hair Stylist – Established Salon with Active Client Base

J'AIME! Hair Salon, established since 2009 in the heart of Plateau-Mont-Royal, is looking for a passionate, professional, and motivated hair stylist to join our full-time team.

We are seeking a person who loves creating beautiful transformations, building lasting relationships with clients, and providing attentive service in a dynamic and upscale environment.

The position is suitable for a hair stylist who already has a client base or someone looking to expand their schedule within an established salon.

Main Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and conduct personalized consultations
• Perform haircuts, styling, and hairstyles
• Provide coloring, highlights, balayage, and transformations
• Offer services tailored to each client's needs, style, and desired maintenance
• Recommend appropriate products for at-home care
• Ensure client follow-up and satisfaction
• Encourage booking of follow-up appointments
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace
• Adhere to salon standards of quality, service, and hygiene
• Collaborate with assistants, reception, and other team members
• Participate in salon life, training, and professional development

Desired Profile

• Recognized diploma or training in hairstyling
• Experience in a salon setting
• Mastery of cutting, coloring, and finishing techniques
• Passion for hairstyling and current trends
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to conduct clear and professional consultations
• Warm, positive, and respectful personality
• Punctuality, reliability, and sense of responsibility
• Team spirit and strong communication skills
• Desire to improve and grow
• Strong French language skills
• Functional English to serve our clientele

Expertise in blonding, balayage, creative coloring, short hair, transformations, or color corrections is an asset.
