Summary of the Position

The Multi-Site Operations Director is responsible for implementing the business plan for the region and achieving financial results, with a particular focus on store comparable sales and sales growth.

The DOM provides global leadership for all regional operations, including daily store activities, merchandise execution, recruitment and training, new store openings, and financial performance management.

The DOM is responsible for tracking and improving key performance indicators, including sales, productivity, labor costs, and inventory management. Through effective leadership and supported coaching, he or she guides a team of district managers to ensure consistent, rigorous, and flawless execution of operational standards across the region, in alignment with corporate objectives.

The RDM will be based in the Greater Quebec region.

Responsibilities

The Multi-Site Operations Director reports directly to the Senior Vice President, Operations.

More specifically, the person is responsible for:

Providing leadership and strategic direction for all regional operations through district managers and store managers;

Supervising labor management, inventory control, and store profitability across the region, ensuring strict adherence to company standards; actively tracking performance using ADN reports, dashboards, and GPS audit results;

Building and leading a highly performing regional management team capable of consistently delivering business results across all functions;

Inspiring, mobilizing, and holding teams accountable by providing continuous feedback, targeted coaching, and clear performance expectations at all levels;

Leading new store openings and renovation projects, ensuring full operational preparation and successful execution;

Promoting and embodying company values in the treatment of employees and customers, while supporting profitability and sustainable growth;

Bringing operational expertise and fostering the adoption of best practices to improve performance and execution;

Supporting the recruitment, development, and retention of strong leaders aligned with regional objectives and strategies.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree, ideally in business administration or operations management, combined with a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in retail management;

Five (5) to eight (8) years of experience in multi-unit operations management in retail, ideally in the sectors of general merchandise, sustainable products, or neighborhood retail, within a corporate environment;

Demonstrated track record of exceptional performance as a district manager, with consistent achievement of business results;

Strong leadership and communication skills, with demonstrated strengths in decision-making, organization, and time management; proven ability to mentor, coach, motivate, and develop high-performing teams;

Recognized team builder, with proven experience in developing and maintaining high-performing leadership teams;

Results-oriented and field leader, comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels to accelerate execution and deliver results;

Presence, energy, and keen business sense required to succeed in a dynamic, performance-driven environment; self-motivated and accountable individual;

Ability to frequently travel across the province, with approximately 70% of the time spent on store visits;

Proficiency in both French and English, both orally and in writing, to interact with colleagues across the country.
