Hairdresser's Assistant

We are looking for a serious, reliable, and motivated person to join our team as a hairdresser's apprentice. The position starts primarily at the reception desk, to understand the salon's operation, customer service, appointment scheduling, and customer experience. Over time, depending on your progress, the role will evolve towards in-salon assistance, shampoos, color applications, observation, practice, and potentially transitioning to a hairdressing chair.

We are looking for someone who truly wants to learn the trade, get involved in a team, and grow with us.

Main responsibilities at the start

• Welcome clients with professionalism and warmth
• Answer phone calls
• Schedule, move, and confirm appointments
• Handle cash transactions
• Ensure the schedule runs smoothly
• Keep the reception and salon clean and organized
• Participate in the salon's general maintenance
• Assist the team as needed

Responsibilities that will be added over time

• Shampoos
• Prepare clients
• Assist hairdressers
• Apply colors
• Observe and learn techniques
• Gradual participation in in-salon service
• Development towards a chair, depending on your progress

Requirements

• Available full-time, 5 days a week
• Available on Saturdays
• Good spoken French
• Good spoken English
• Interested in hairdressing and salon evolution
• Valid Canadian work permit

• Completed or ongoing hairdressing training
