... to contribute to the service of crossings mainly by performing welding work on various materials for land infrastructure and ships. The welder works in the workshop as well as on the ships and the docks and performs various maintenance tasks in the workshop and at the different sites where the ships are moored. Additionally, you must always comply with the safety standards and procedures in place at the Company.

Your Main Tasks Will Be

• Perform welds on steel pieces and other materials.
• Prepare the work area and equipment, such as cutting, dismantling, cleaning, and assembling the necessary pieces.
• Read, check, and follow plans.
• Perform preventive maintenance of equipment by periodically checking all parts and making necessary adjustments.
• Perform maintenance work at the work sites, including organizing equipment and keeping order in the welding department.
• Mooring ships arriving at the workshop mainly using cables, calling lines, and bitts.
• Use the truck equipped with a crane to transport goods.
• Design and invent new equipment and installations.

You possess...

• Secondary school diploma plus a professional studies diploma in welding or equivalent
• Driving license and welding competency card (4 positions FCAW)
• A minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in communicating in French
