Oldcastle Infrastructure is a leading provider of engineering construction product solutions and services for North American infrastructure projects across several markets. The OI Enclosures (OIE) activity of Oldcastle Infrastructure has combined the Carson®, Christy®, Duralite®, Plastibeton and Highline® brands to form the largest manufacturer of plastic, polymer and concrete utility enclosure products serving municipal markets in water, irrigation, electrical, communications and transportation. OI Enclosures has 11 strategically located manufacturing and distribution centers in the United States and Canada.

This person will be responsible for quickly responding to customer inquiries, questions and/or concerns in a fast and professional manner. They will also manage quotes and orders by processing and tracking them as needed. This is an entry-level position (~1 to 2 years of experience) that will be responsible for managing customer relationships in a specified market, as defined in Oldcastle's SOPs.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Process submissions, support submissions, orders and information requests from customers related to their dedicated market
• Answer calls and process email requests; provide courteous, timely and efficient customer service
• Inform customers of the status of their orders, including any changes
• Adhere to the company's attendance standards
• Coordinate effectively with transportation, planning, engineering and sales
• Create files in NetSuite for customer issue resolution and product design

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills: integrates well at all employee levels, comfortable with rigorous exchange, communicative and collaborative style
• Effective team player with the ability to work autonomously
• Energetic, able to provide and receive feedback
• Willingness to follow instructions and be accountable for duties
• Experienced user of MS Office programs (NetSuite plus)
• Customer-focused; dedicated to meeting the expectations of internal and external customers
• Capable of organizing and prioritizing work effectively
• Capable of managing customer escalations in a respectful and efficient manner
• Strong interest in personal development; i.e., learning about the company, product applications, intercommunication skills, etc.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of customer service experience in an office environment
• Experience in manufacturing or logistics is preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills
• Comfortable user of Excel; detail-oriented, with the ability to do multiple things at once
• Bilingual French-English
• Demonstrated ability to work calmly in a dynamic team environment
• Willing to be adaptable and flexible in our constantly evolving work environment
